One boy, four nail-biting quests, an ancient artefact under threat of destruction, not to mention a diorama, witches galore, a creeping darkness and a lost monastery all in the mix, could all this and much more besides have something to do with how it will all end for Alfie Tucker in my LEXICON SERIES? The Librarius Quest, The Curse of The Bletherwytch and also The Witch’s Blood, are the first three books in this gripping series and with a fourth to bring Alfie Tucker’s nail-biting exploits to a conclusion well under way, the reader can expect thrills aplenty to be discovered. With a target readership of Middle Grade to YA+, and each book steeped in mystery, adventure and more than a sprinkling of fantasy, the series is a read not to be missed. I am often asked where/how the ideas/inspiration for my storylines come from. Apart from the main literary-based theme itself, many events created as part of the ongoing narrative have been trawled up from a wealth of recollections/events/happenings from my own past, where they have lurked deep within my brain; some memories, in particular, stemming from childhood. It’s amazing just how such reminiscences can be used/called upon in this way to add richness and, in part, believability to a happening within the tale. Enjoy!
